EGO and the NFL’s Chicago Bears teamed up in July and August to present the 2024 EGO Outdoor Power Equipment Chicago Bears Training Camp for fans, held at the Bears’practice facility over nine public practice dates and three private community dates.
As the title sponsor of the team’s training camp, EGO secured branding throughout the event, including its title sponsor logo, a press release, the EGO logo on signage at 12 events, social media posts, and an onsite activation area for fans attending practice.
The onsite activation allowed Bears fans to engage with EGO tools in the fan experience tents over a four-week period, which included a tailgating experience featuring EGO lifestyle tools, as well as demos of core tools like blowers, string trimmers, and mowers.  EGO misting fans were placed throughout the outdoor event during some of the hottest days of summer and quickly became a fan favorite.
This partnership is part of a larger EGO initiative to reach potential consumers through professional football, following the successful NFL Draft Sponsorship in the spring that drove a 77% increase in EGO brand searches within an hour of the draft airing.
