More than 100 employees moved in to the Chicagoland office earlier this summer, with plans to add another 100 over the next several years.

As one of the world’s largest power tool manufacturers, Chervon has grown exponentially in recent years. The corporation thus needed to expand upon its existing offices in Michigan and China in order to better serve its market and customers. Joe Turoff, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for Chervon North America, commented that his company selected Illinois based on convenience, efficiency and ultimately, because it best fit the company's needs. “Naperville seemed like the perfect city," the CMO said.

The large local talent pool didn’t hurt, either. Indeed, Naperville’s renowned workforce and business-friendly atmosphere were a perfect match for the ground-breaking North American headquarters. “The new location will provide Chervon with a dynamic, world-class work environment to support product development, talent recruitment and retention, and the company’s growth for years to come,” said Peter L.Q. Pan, President of Chervon (HK) Ltd.

Home to such household brand names as EGO, SKIL and Skilsaw, the new hub features a prototype lab, model shop, showrooms, and a photo and video studio. The 100% eco-friendly, LEED-certified building overlooks one of Herrick Lake Forest Preserve’s many ponds. Chervon’s 122,000-square-foot facility includes high-end amenities such as a gourmet café, gym, outdoor terrace, landscaped patio, and ergonomic work spaces.
